Here at Ready-Set-Grow we offer TWO amazing Preschool opprotunities - this allows your children to learn at their own pace.
The SAFARI-THEMED classroom is for our beginner preschool friends. This classroom is full of fun decor including monkeys hanging on vines, elephants, and more! The OCEAN-THEMED classroom has sea creatures hanging from the ceiling and a large fish tank that brings enjoyment to the children. These classrooms each have large windows that allow natural lighting in and provide an open feel for these busy children.
In our preschool classrooms we focus on expanding children's vocabulary, phonological awareness, and alphabet knowledge. We also practice pre-writing skills, math and numeracy concepts, as well as both fine and gross motor skills. Children will also get to practice healthy and positive social and emotional skills every week through puppets, books, and role play. These classrooms are divided into nine Learning Centers: Science & Discovery; Creative Arts; Sand/Water Table; Library; Music & Movement; Blocks & Building; Dramatic Play; Fine Motor Manipulatives; and Writing. These centers allow children many options for play and discovery throughout their day. Children play outside twice a day (weather permitting) in our large backyard. Our playground has a fantastic playground, a music station, and a deck under a large, shady tree for those who enjoy a more relaxed outside time. For the more active children, we also have a large sandbox, balance bikes, and a basketball hoop.
