Our Summer Camp program is for any elementary aged child that has COMPLETED kindergarten through 6th grade. Weekly field trips include places such as going to the zoo, aviary, and aquarium, as well as Boondocks. In addition to the scheduled field trips, we have visitors such as reptile entertainers, puppeteers, karate demonstrations, a professional art class, and more. The children also really enjoy our themed days, such as Animal Day, Sport Day, and Backwards Day, just to name a few. Crafts, science experiments, and an occasional cooking class keep the children busy while here at the center. We also include impromptu fun at local parks and splash pads, and other surprises throughout the summer to keep the children on their toes.
Younger age groups have summer fun as well. These groups stay closer to the center with walking field trips, water days in the yard, and will join the school aged group for the guest visitors.
